your headset documentation to verify.
My Device
With this option, you can connect other devices
to your phone, for example a Bluetooth headset.
Select Settings > Bluetooth Settings > My
Device > Options. You may rename the paired
device, delete the pairing, or search a new
device.
Settings
With the Settings > Bluetooth Settings >
Settings option, you can determine whether
or not the phone can be detected by other
Bluetooth devices, change your device’s name,
or set the audio path to the handset, forward
to a Bluetooth-enabled handsfree device, or
forward to an earphone. You can also enter FTP
settings to choose folders to share and set the
access right to the phone.
Bluetooth data transmission
Your phone also supports data transmission
technology with Bluetooth devices. With
Bluetooth, you can exchange contacts, calendar
items, pictures and music files.
Sending an item
First make sure that the other device has
already been added to your list. Then find the
item you would like to send, and click Option >
Send to > Bluetooth > My Device to select the
device then select Send to send it.
Receiving an item
First make sure that you have turned on the
visibility, so that the other device can detect
your phone, and enter the same password in
both devices. Then follow the instructions on
your screen to receive the item.
Security Settings
The Security Settings menu contains features
to prevent information from being accessed
or calls being charged to your account. There
are password features to protect both your
phone and your SIM card in case of loss, theft,
or unauthorized use. You can also control the
numbers dialed from the phone with Barred
Dial.
Security features include SIM Lock, Phone Lock
Code, Auto Keypad Lock, Fixed Dial, Barred
Dial, and Change Password.
SIM Lock
Go to Settings >Security Settings > SIM Lock
to protects the SIM card from unauthorized use
if the phone is stolen or used by others.
Highlight the SIM Lock option from the Security
Settings menu and press the left soft key to
toggle the option to On or Off.
NOte: This option requires a default password from your
service provider. Consult your service provider if needed.
