Theatre Solutions has entered into a formal alliance with Herman Miller, Inc., a recognized pioneer and global provider of
office furniture since 1923. The collaboration unites the award-winning design and ergonomics of Herman Miller’s Aeron
®
and Equa 2
®
chairs with fixed training tables from TSI. Theatre Solutions maintains its established high level of service to
include layout and design, project management, and product installation.
The Lecture Seating Series
Fixed training tables and seating lend security and order to the lecture environment. In this context, the term “fixed
seating” refers to the permanent layout of seating within a space, where a steel mechanism suspends the chair uppers
while also securing the worksurface to the floor. The advantages of such an arrangement are numerous: it provides for
an ample worksurface area with optional power/data access; it silently returns unoccupied chairs to a forward-facing rest
position; it eliminates chair theft; and it clears the floor of obstacles for ease of cleaning. Configurations are custom
manufactured to meet each room’s layout requirements. Worksurfaces are available in a variety of high-pressure
laminates and edge details. TSI offers three seat uppers in the Lecture Seating series:
TSI’s Forum A fully-upholstered chair with an inner shell that incorporates a waterfall front edge and lumbar
support. Available both with and without arms, as well as an optional tilt mechanism.
Herman Miller’s Aeron Revolutionizing the world of ergonomic seating, this state-of-the-art design allows the
body to pivot naturally and simultaneously at the ankles, knees, and hips for smooth, proper support in any
seated position. Available both with and without arms.
Herman Miller’s Equa 2 Originally designed as a high performance office chair, the seat and back of the one-
piece shell flex independently providing passive support for users as they shift body position. Available both with
and without arms.
The Jury Base Seating Series
TSI offers four models of pedestal based seating that address the unique needs of the courtroom. All provide modern
styling, advanced ergonomics, swivel & return capability, and optional tilt functions. To coordinate overall courtroom
aesthetics, Teatro and Acclaim are available as both fixed audience seating and pedestal base seating. The following
models are available:
TSI’s Acclaim Coordinates with fixed Acclaim audience seating to provide a uniform look within the courtroom.
The Acclaim is available fully-upholstered or with an outer wood veneer back panel to provide enhanced
acoustics and additional protection. Hardwood armrests are standard; a tilt mechanism is an available option.
