Description:
Duro-Last®, Inc. requires the use of Duro-Coated
Screws for the mechanical fastening of the Duro-Last
roofing system and insulation board. Duro-Last EHD
Screws are #15 diameter fasteners equipped with a
P-3 truss head, and a drill point.
When greater fastener pullout resistance is needed
than can be achieved with the Duro-Last HD Screw,
the Duro-Last EHD Screw should be used.
Duro-Last HD Screws can be used in most types of
roofing applications. These Duro-Coated Screws must
pass twice the FM 4470 standard for corrosion
resistance, totaling 30 cycles in a Kesternich cabinet.
Duro-Last, Inc. also requires that all Duro-Coated
Screws pass 20º and 40º bend tests (hardness) and
be able to penetrate a 20 gauge deck in under three
seconds with a 50 lb. (222 N) load.
Installation:
1. Penetration into all deck types is 1 in. (25 mm)
minimum, from the top surface of the deck.

Duro-Last, Inc. stocks EHD screws in the sizes
noted in the table to the right. Additional sizes are
available on a drop ship basis. Please allow
adequate time for ordering and delivery of special
orders.
