DURO-LAST® TWO-WAY AIR VENT

Duro-Last® Two-Way Air Vents are fabricated from a
rigid exterior vinyl with an 18 x 18 inch (457 x 457 mm)

base made with Duro-Last 's specially formulated roofing

membrane which is a proprietary thermoplastic

formulation.

The Two-Way Air Vent incorporates a reticulated foam
screen to inhibit insect entry. The base is available in
white, tan, gray, dark gray and terra cotta as well as in
the Designer Series membranes (slate gray
Shingle-Ply

, sandstone Shingle-Ply

and Rock-Ply

)

and is usually ordered to match the roof membrane.

Installation:

1. Two-Way Air Vents shall be installed at the density of

one per each 1,000 ft.² (93 m²) of deck area and any
fraction thereof, with a minimum of one per roof area.

2. Vents are to be evenly spaced across the roof area.
3. Never mechanically attach the Two-Way Air Vents to

the roof deck.

4. The Two-Way Air Vent feet are to be installed under

the deck membrane.

5. Two-Way Air Vents shall have their skirts heat welded

(hot-air) to the field membrane.

6. Refer to detail drawing 5020 for installation

information.

Note:

Two-Way Air Vents are not required on

refrigerated/freezer buildings.

Mobile home applications require an even number of

vents (two minimum).
