Windows XP or Windows Vista
The new hardware or device driver wizard will appear. Follow the wizard to install the Serial I/O Card
drivers. Make the appropriate selections below for your Windows version as prompted:
If you have the CD in your CDROM drive, select the option “Install the software automatically
(Recommended)” and click “Next.”
If you have downloaded drivers, select the option “Install from a list or specific location (Advanced)” and
click “Next.”
If a screen warns you that the software has not passed Windows Logo testing, click Continue Anyway.
Follow the remaining instructions until installation is complete. You should see the card and the serial
port listed in Device Manager as described in the section for Windows 7 installation above.
