7 Instrument modification
Mounting the LC display
VEGADIF 34 … 51 differential pressure trans-
mitters can be equipped with an LC display.
Make sure that the stated measuring range on
the display, e.g. 0 … 1000 mbar corresponds
to the sensor data.
• When installing the display, care should be
taken to prevent moisture or corrosive sub-
stances from getting into the electronics
compartment.
• The scope of delivery encompasses a
special housing cover with inspection win-
dow. This enclosed the electronics compart-
ment with integrated LC display.
Mounting procedure
1 Unscrew the housing cover of the electron-
ics compartment.
2 Remove blind coupling on the electronics
board in the transmitter. Press the four-pole
coupling of the LC display onto the socket
of the electronics board until it snaps in.
Note:
The blind coupling must be kept in case the
LC display is removed.
3 Insert the LC display in the requested 90°
position into the holder until it snaps in.
4 Close the electronics compartment with the
housing cover for the display module.
