Procedure #10: Optical Wear plate and Side Wear plate replacement.
1. Remove the bolts attaching the optical
sensor assembly to the row unit.
2. Remove the hex screws attaching the side
plates to the optical sensor.
3. To remove wear plate, unscrew the hex
bolts on the top of the optical sensor as
shown in figure 10.2
4. Now to replace the wear place, ensure the
O-ring is seated in the o-ring grove as shown
in figure 10.3.
5. Install the wear plate and side plates,
Then mount the assembly back to the row
unit.
