Installing the
Duplexer 1. Switch the printer power OFF, and disconnect the printer power cord and data cable from the printer.
2. Use two people to move the printer to a temporary location while the auxiliary paper tray is prepared for
installation.
3. Remove the auxiliary paper tray from the shipping box and place it on a stable surface where the printer will
be located for normal operation.
4. Remove the auxiliary paper tray drawer from the auxiliary tray chassis and remove the packing materials
from the paper tray compartment (Figure 1).
