3.3 METADATA PROFILE MANAGEMENT

NTRODUCTION
Metadata is customer-defined data which can be associated with media or edits to
describe or classify them.
Metadata user fields can be created and associated into profiles within Xedio
Dispatcher. Then, a metadata profile can be assigned to media or edits and
metadata values specific to the media or edit can be entered in the user fields.

NTRODUCTION
The Metadata Profiles window allows you to define user fields and to associate
them into profiles. You can access it via the menu Parameters > Metadata
Profiles.
It is divided into three areas:
1. Available Metadata Fields
2. Metadata Profile Information
3. Existing Metadata Profiles
