Purge Candidates Grid
This grid displays the clips that qualify to be purged according to the criteria set in the
Configuration tab of the Configurator. By consequence, this grid is filled up automatically.
The request to purge the clips has been performed automatically. The following additional
clip information is displayed:
•
Size: The size of the high-resolution file.
•
TC In: The start timecode of the clip.
•
TC Out: The end timecode of the clip.
•
Duration: The duration of the clip without guardbands. If you hover your cursor over
the cell, the duration with guardbands will be displayed.
•
Date Requested: The date and time when the clip was requested to be purged.
•
Tape: The ID of the LTO tape on which the clip has been archived.
•
Status: The current purge status of the clip.
Selected Clips Grid
This grid contains the clips that you have selected from the Purge Candidates grid to be
purged or refused. You can manually purge or refuse the clips.
Four buttons are provided allowing you to add and remove clips:
Button
Description
With this button you can add one or more clips to the Selected Clips grid.
With this button you can add all the clips to the Selected Clips grid.
With this button you can remove one or more clips from the Selected
Clips grid.
With this button you can remove all the clips from the Selected Clips
grid.
With the Purge button
you can manually initiate the removal of the high-and
low-resolution files from the nearline storage and from LTO tape.
With the Refuse button
you can manually refuse the the removal of the high-
and low-resolution files from the nearline storage and from LTO tape. The clips will
disappear from this tab, and appear again in the Archived or Hires Removed tab.
If the Selected Clips grid does not contain clips, the Purge button is unavailable.
Note
Depending on your user rights, the Purge Candidates tab will be visible or not.
