13 For Administrators and Technicians
This chapter contains information directed at administrators and/or technicians. Please note
that administrative information is also provided throughout this manual.
13.1 Recording Logs
To record logs the Log Level has to be set to Terminal or File ( 10.6.15 ).
13.2 Viewing and Collecting Logs
You can use the desktop software of your smartphone or a file explorer (like Windows Explorer) to
open
• Connect your smartphone via USB to your computer
→ The top-status bar of your smartphone will indicated that it is connected.
• Click on the status notification and choose to "’mount"’ your SD card (this may be done auto-
matically, please make sure that the SD card is mounted)
→ Files on your SD card will be copied.
• Open the AMC+ folder
→ The file "AMCClientLog.txt” contains the log messages and the file ”AMCClientCrashLog.txt”
contains exceptions.
Make sure the Log settings are set back to "Off" after the logs have been taken to avoid slow perfor-
mance.
