Common Issues
If your phone is not performing to your expectations, please try these simple steps first. If these steps do not solve

illuminate.when.the.handset.
is.placed.in.the.cradle.
Make.sure.the.AC.adapter.is.plugged.into.the.base.or.the.charger.(if.you.have.
more.than.one.handset).and.wall.outlet.
Make.sure.the.AC.outlet.is.not.connected.to.a.wall.switch.
Make.sure.the.handset.is.properly.seated.in.the.cradle.
Make.sure.the.charging.contacts.on.the.handset.are.clean..

Can’t.make.or.receive.calls.
Make.sure.that.you.are.not.too.far.from.the.base.
Make.sure.the.line.is.not.in.use..If.an.outside.call.is.already.using.a.line,.you.
cannot.use.that.line.to.make.another.outside.call.
Make.sure.your.handset.is.registered.to.the.base.
Check.the.telephone.cord.connection..If.CHECK.TEL.LINE.appears.on.the.
handset.display,.the.telephone.cord.may.not.be.connected.correctly.
Make.sure.the.AC.adapter.is.plugged.into.the.base.and.wall.outlet.
Disconnect.the.AC.adapter.and.reconnect.
