Initial Setups
First Time You on the Unit
Right after the purchase of the unit, do the Initialize
Setting by taking the following procedures.
This menu may not appear if you have already turned
on the unit.
1 After making all the necessary connections, turn on
the TV. Select the appropriate external input
channel. (See page
18.)
2 Press POWER. The Display shown below will
appear.

turned on the unit. If you have already turned on
the unit before, refer to ‘OSD Language Setting’ on
page 2
1 to select a language for the on-screen
displays and the menus, ‘Channel Setting’ on page 22
to setup the channels, and ‘Clock Setting’ on page 24
to set the clock.
If you press PLAY B at this point, “English” will
be selected automatically and the steps
3 and 4 can
be skipped.
3 Press / to select “English”,“Français
(French)” or “Español (Spanish)”. Then, press
ENTER. The following screen will automatically
appear and the Auto Channel Preset will start.
If you like to skip this step, press RETURN as
soon as the search begins.
4 After Auto Channel Preset is finished, the Auto Clock
function will be activated automatically and the cor-
rect time will be set.
