Configuring SNMP
The Dominion SX server supports sending SNMP alerts to a predefined SNMP server. The
Raritan SNMP MIB may be obtained from the FAQs in the support section of the Raritan web
site. (
). The following commands configure the
SNMP features:
• add
• delete
• snmp
SMNP Add Command
The add command adds trap recipients. A recipient is an IP address with an optional space-
separated port
number. Traps may be sent to multiple ports with the same IP address.
The syntax of the add command is:
add [dest ipaddress] [port value]
The add command options are described in Table 33.

SNMP Delete Command
The SNMP delete command deletes trap recipients. A recipient is an IP address with an optional
space- separated port number. If a recipient with a port number is to be removed, include the port
number in the delete command. Traps may be sent to multiple ports with the same IP address.
The syntax of the SNMP delete command is:
delete [dest ipaddress]
The SNMP delete command options are described in Table 34.
