Programs
You can register frequently used set-
tings in the machine memory and re-
call them for future use.
Note
❒ You can register up to 10 programs
for the scanner mode.
❒ You can use the settings registered
in program No.10 as the initial
mode by selecting [Program No.10]
in [Change Initial Mode] of [Scanner
Features]
.
❒ Programs are not deleted by turning
the power off or by pressing the
{{{{Clear Modes}}}} key. They are delet-
ed only when you delete them or
overwrite them with another pro-
gram.
❒ Settings that can be registered as a
program are scan settings, standby
mode for additional originals,
loading orientation of the original,
output tray of the original, and file
format.
Registering a Program
AAAA
Make the settings you want to
register in the initial display of
the scanner mode.
BBBB
Press the
{{{{Program}}}} key.
CCCC
Press [
m m m m Register].
DDDD
Press the program number you
want to register.
Note
❒ Program numbers with m al-
ready have settings in them.
EEEE
Enter the program name with the
soft keyboard that appears on the
display panel.
Note
❒ You can enter up to 40 charac-
ters.
❒ If it is not necessary to enter the
program name, proceed to step
F .
FFFF
Press [OK].
When the settings are successfully
registered,
m appears on the left
side of the registered program
number and the program name ap-
pears on the right side. The display
returns to the initial display after a
moment.
