10. In Name or address of host providing lpd , type in the printer
IP address that was assigned when the network interface card was
installed. In
Name of printer on that machine , type in PORT1 .
• You will not be able to select LPR Port unless the following two settings
are in effect in the Control Panel Network applet.
• Protocol: TCP/IP Protocol
• Services: TCP/IP Print
• If you have a problem selecting LPR Port , change these settings as
shown above.
