This mode lets you take movie pictures at a delayed frame rate so that when you
play the movie back, the action appears speeded up.

Set the mode dial to C .

Press the Menu / Fn button in Capture mode.
The [ A Rec.Mode] menu will be displayed.

Press the four-way controller ( 3 ) to select [Fast Fwd Movie].

Use the four-way controller ( 45 ) to
choose [Off (Ч1)], [Ч2], [Ч5], [Ч10], [Ч50]
or [×100].

Press the OK button.

Press the shutter release button.
Shooting in Fast Forward Movie mode starts.

Press the shutter release button.
Shooting in Fast Fwd Movie mode ends.

• Off (×1) is the normal setting for movie pictures (15 frames per second).
Each time ×2 or ×5 is selected, the number of frames taken per second is
reduced to 1/2 or 1/5.
• As movie pictures are normally played back at the rate of 15 frames per
second, movies taken at ×2 are played back twice as fast and movies
taken at ×5 are played back five times as fast.
• Sound cannot be recorded.
