Front panel
• Open the front door flap when using the
front panel connectors.
1  STANDBY/ON
Switches the system on or into standby.
2 HDMI indicator (Red)
Lights when this system is connected to HDMI
(HDCP) compatible component.
Also lights during initialization, after you plug
this unit into an AC outlet.
3 iPod DIRECT terminal
Use to connect your Apple iPod as an audio
source for playback (page 36).
4 PHONES jack
Connect headphones.
5 MCACC jack
Use to connect the supplied microphone for
the Auto MCACC setup (page 29).
6 IR remote sensor
7 Front panel display
See Display below for details.
8 Motion sensor
When the front panel display is off, if Display
Mode is set to
Auto Display, the display will
automatically turn on when movement is
detected by the motion sensor (page 57).
9 Action indicator
Lights when a touch sensor operation is
performed.
