Adding a Call Alarm to the Calendar
You can set call alarms to notify you when you need to
place a call. The call alarm will let you know when and to
whom to place a scheduled call. You can set up to 15
call alarms.
To add a call alarm to the calendar:
1. Press > Tools > Calendar .
2. Select a day and press Options (right softkey) >
Add Event > Call Alarm .
3. Enter the phone number directly or press Options
(right softkey) > From Contacts or Voicemail .
Ⅲ From Contacts to select a number from your
Contacts.
Ⅲ Voicemail to select the number for voicemail
access.
4. Select the items to edit and press .
Ⅲ Time/Date to edit the start time and date.
Ⅲ Alarm to select the ringer alarm.
Ⅲ Repeat to set the Call Alarm’s repeat status ( Once ,
Daily , Weekly , Monthly , or Yearly ).
5. Press Save (left softkey).
To call the phone numberat the time of a call alarm
notification:
ᮣ Press to dial the phone number (if applicable).
To respond to a call alarm, see “Event Alerts” below.
Event Alerts
When your phone is turned on and you have an event
alarm scheduled, your phone alerts you and displays the
event summary. There are several ways your phone
alerts you to scheduled events:
ⅷ By playing the assigned ringer type.
ⅷ By illuminating the backlight.
ⅷ By flashing the LED.
Tip You can also add a call alarm from the Contacts
menu. (See “Contacts Menu Descriptions” on
page 69.)
