To protect your telephone settings from unintentional
access you should protect your Gigaset with a PIN (sys-
tem PIN).
Changing the system PIN
To protect the system settings from unauthorised ac-
cess you should change the system PIN (factory set-
ting: 0000) to a PIN that only you know. This also ena-
bles remote operation (answering machine).

Enter the currently valid system PIN and confirm (fac-
tory setting: 0000).
o Enter the new system PIN (4 digits).
D o Scroll forward one line and repeat the new system PIN.
