You hear a notification of the recording and then the
ready tone (short beep). Speak your announcement or
advisory text clearly into the machine.
Example of a typical announcement:
“
I cannot take your call right now. Please leave a mes-
sage after the tone.”
Example of a typical advisory announcement:
“
Our offices are closed. Please ring back during busi-
ness hours between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.”
End Terminating a recording.
The recorded announcement is repeated for checking.
If you press

during the recording, the re-
cording will be terminated and the current announce-
ment will be deleted.
● If OGM mode is set the standard announcement is
used.
● If Announce Only mode is set the answering ma-
chine is deactivated.

Recording is automatically terminated:
● if you exceed the maximum recording time of
170 s
● if you pause for more than two seconds

If the memory of the answering machine is full
and an advisory text is available the answering
machine switches itself off and switches to “ad-
visory announcement without recording”
