2. Using the Cordless Handset
Making a Phone Call

Pick up the cordless handset and press .

If the display at right appears, press
to select line 1 or to select
line 2.
(If the display at right does not appear,
go directly to Step 3.)

When you hear the dial tone, dial the number.

When you are ready to end the call, press .

You can also end the call by simply placing the cordless handset in the
charger.

If the display shows LINE BUSY, the
selected line is busy. Select the other
line or wait until the busy line is free. If
the display shows BUSY, the system
is busy. Wait until the system is free.
WHICH LINE?
PRESS 1 OR 2
The above display will appear
if the dialing line setting is set
to MANUAL (page 36) and the
line 2 invalid setting is set to
NO (page 37).
