5-1 Thumbnail Search
To do this you display thumbnail images, then cue up to a
desired clip or sub clip

1) Each segment (from an IN point to an OUT point) included in a clip list is
called a “sub clip.”
Cuing up to a desired clip
To display the thumbnail images of all clips on the disc,
and cue up to a desired clip, use the following procedure.

With the SUB CLIP button off, press the
THUMBNAIL button, turning it on.
The thumbnails of all clips on the disc appear.
To escape from the thumbnail images to full-screen
display
Press the THUMBNAIL button, turning it off.

Use the arrow buttons to select the desired clip.

Press the SET button.
This displays the first frame of the selected clip.
(Example when clip 003 was selected in step 2)
Next, you can play the selected clip.
Recording date and time
of selected clip
This indicates that these are
thumbnail images of clips.
Currently selected clip
Sixth clip is selected from
a total of 143 clips.
