Preparing for Installation 1
The SunFastEthernet™ Adapter is an SBus card that operates at either 10 or
100 Mbps, with both an RJ-45 and an MII connector.
1.1 Features
This SBus card offers the following features:
• Switchable 10BASE-T/100BASE-TX Ethernet. Automatically sets
10/100 Mbps speed. Conforms to IEEE 802.3u Ethernet standard.

MII complies with IEEE 802.3u standard. Connects to TX, T4, FX, AUI and
all supporting transceivers. Rate of 2.5 MHz for 10 Mbps and 25 MHz for
100 Mbps.

SBus interface to host system. Complies with IEEE 1496 SBus specification.
