Using the answering machine in the C 150 Base

Activating/deactivating Two-Way Recording
You can record an external call with the answering machine. The recording time
depends on the length of the messages you have not yet deleted.
Precondition: You are conducting an external call.
Two way recording is indicated by an advisory text and is added to the message list as a
new message..
Operating the answering machine while you are away from home
(remote operation)
You can check and activate your answering machine from any other telephone (hotel,
pay phone etc.).
Precondition:
1. You have previously changed the preset system PIN (0000) at home (page 63).
2. The phone from which you are calling has tone dialling (DTMF), i.e. you hear differ-
ent tones when you press the keys. Alternatively you can use a code transmitter
(available from your mobile phone retailer).
Calling your answering machine and playing messages

Press the display key to open the menu.
either ... Activate two way record:
[__________] [_____________________________________________________________] Two Way Record
[_________] OK
Select the menu item and confirm ( ‰ = On).
or ... Deactivate two way record:
[_____________________________________________________________] [__________] Stop Recording OK
Confirm.
