Using Other Functions
Using a different telephone
in the same way as your own
You can log on to another telephone belonging to the
HiPath 4000 system via a personal identification num-
ber (PIN) (also telephones of networked HiPath 4000
systems, for example, at other branches of your compa-
ny). At the other telephone you can* then:
•
make calls and assign the charges to cost centers
•
make calls and assign the charges to specific
projects
•
retrieve messages from your mailbox
•
use your individual speed dialing numbers and also
a number that has been saved at your own tele-
phone for redialing
•
use repertory dialing keys, provided that they are
configured in the same positions as your own tele-
phone
•
enter timed reminders
Using an internal PIN, you can have your calls diverted to
a telephone in the office or department where you will be
for a temporary period (call forwarding - follow me).
