message prefix, ANR, ANS, or
ANE. If yes, the message was
generated by System Storage
Archive Manager.

7. Have any recent changes been

made to the network, system
software, or hardware?

8. Can the DS4000 storage be

accessed?

9. Can the DR550 ping another

client or host on the network?



Once you have gathered sufficient information about the problem use the following table to decide
where to start problem diagnosis.
