Your phone offers increased coverage by giving you
the flexibility to switch between CDMA and GSM 900
or GSM 1800 networks.
Note: To use your phone with a GSM 900 or
GSM 1800 network, you must insert a SIM card (see
page 11), supplied by Verizon Wireless® or a GSM 900
or GSM 1800 network service provider.
1 Press the center select key ( s ) to open the
menu.
2 Use the navigation key ( S ) to scroll to
D SETTINGS & TOOLS.
3 Scroll to Phone Settings and press the center select
key ( s ) (OK).
4 Scroll to System Select and press the center select
key ( s ) (OK).
5 Select Network Mode and press the center select
key ( s ) (OK).
6 Select one of these options and press the center
select key ( s ) (OK):
Global Search first for a CDMA network. If no
CDMA network is available, use a
GSM 900 or GSM 1800 network if
you have an installed SIM card for
that network.
CDMA Only Use a CDMA network only.
