DiSEqC system
The DiSEqC system permits your TV set to con-
trol the SAT system via the existing antenna
cable. It is a prerequisite for reception from
more than two satellites (e.g. reception from
Astra, Eutelsat and Hotbird).
It is not yet necessary to upgrade SAT systems
which are used only for reception from Astra.
Control of the SAT system for reception from
three or more satellites (e.g. Astra on 19.2°
Eutelsat on 16° and Hotbird on 13°) is no lon-
ger possible without DiSEqC.
Switching the DiSEqC system on and off
• Press the „MENU“ key to open the TV
menu.
• Press the red key to open the menu
„Configuration“.
• Use the cursor control key to select
„SAT system“.
• Use the cursor control key to select
„DiSEqC system „ and press „OK“ to
confirm your selection. The cursor is
now located before the entry „DiSEqC system“
in the setting window.
• Use the – + key to select „Yes“ or „No“.
• Press the „OK“ key to save the new setting.
• Press the „TV“ key to close the TV menu.
