Note: The information in this chapter applies only to
contacts for voice calls. For information on entering
PTT contacts, see page 65.
emergency contact & personal
information
If you are injured, emergency workers may check your
phone for emergency contact information. Store the
phone numbers of relatives or friends as emergency
contacts.
1 From the main screen, press the Right Soft
Key (
:
) (Contacts) to open the CONTACT LIST.
2 Use the Navigation Key (
N
) to scroll to In Case of
Emergency and press the Center Select Key (
M
) (OK).
3 Scroll to CONTACT 1, CONTACT 2, or CONTACT 3, and press
the Center Select Key (
M
) (ADD).
To change an emergency contact, scroll to the
contact and press the Right Soft Key (
:
) (Options),
then select Re-assign.
Note: Select Personal Info to add personal
information that may assist emergency workers.
4 To add a contact from the CONTACT LIST,
select From Contacts, scroll to the contact you want to
add, and press the Center Select Key (
M
) (OK).
To enter a new contact, select New Contact, enter
the contact information, and press the Center
Select Key (
M
) (SAVE).
