PCS Mail

Using PCS Mail

With PCS Mail, you can set up an account at no additional charge
and perform many of the typical email functions from your
PCS Phone that you can from your personal computer.

You can manage your PCS Mail Account from your PCS Phone or
from your personal computer at

www.sprintpcs.com

. You can also

access other select email providers from the Web.

Accessing PCS Mail Messages

To access PCS Mail Messages:

1. Press

to access the main menu.

2. Select Messaging and press

.

3. Select PCS Mail and press

. If you’re a first-time user, your

phone will prompt you to set up your email account by
establishing a User name and password.

4. To view your messages, select Inbox and press

(left

softkey).

5. Scroll to select the message you wish to read and press the left

softkey.

6. Once you’ve read a message, use the quick actions at the end

of each message (Erase, Reply, Reply All, or Next Message) or
select Menu for a full list of options.

Composing PCS Mail Messages

To compose PCS Mail Message:

1. From the PCS Mail menu (see steps 1-3 above), select Compose.

2. Select Add Name to enter the address of the person to whom

you’re sending a message and press the left softkey.

3. Select Next to enter the subject and your message.

4. Select Send when your message is ready to be sent.

To read a Short Mail message:

1. When you receive a short mail message, you will see “New”

on your display screen. Press

(right softkey).

2. You will then see “New Short Mail. Select “Go” to read it.” on

your display screen. Press

(left softkey). The browser will

launch.

3. Scroll to the new short mail message and press left softkey.

Unread short mail messages will be marked with an asterisk (*).

Note:

The last four digits from the PCS Phone Number of the person who

sent you a short mail message appear before the message text.

To reply to a Short Mail message:

1. While the message is open, select Reply.

2. Compose your reply or use the pre-set messages or icons.

To type a reply, highlight the Message box and use your
keypad to type a message. Use the right softkey to select a
character input mode.

To use a pre-set message or “emoticon,” highlight Insert and
select Pre-set Msgs or Icons. Select Go, then select the message
or emoticon you’d like to insert and select OK.

3. Review your reply and select

(left softkey).

To add and/or edit Pre-Set Messages:

1. Press

to access the main menu.

2. Select Messaging and press

.

3. Select Short Mail and press

.

4. Select Setting and press the left softkey.

5. Select Pre-set Messages and press the left softkey.

6. From the Pre-set Messages menu, select (Add New) or the

message you wish to edit.

7. Enter your new message or changes and select

(left

softkey).

Note:

You may also add or edit Pre-Set Messages in the “Manage My

Account” area at www.sprintpcs.com.
