7. slip the coarse downfeed handle onto the
shaft located on the right side of the head, as
shown in
figure 16.
Note: If necessary, use the set screw on
the hub of the handle to adjust the ball bear-
ing pressure until the handle can be easily
installed and removed.

6. slide the fine downfeed handwheel onto the
shaft on the front of the head, as shown in
figure 15.

8. attach each coolant return hose to the pipe
elbow on the rear of the table, then secure
the other end through the clamp on the
base and over the drain screen, as shown in
figure 17.
9. Loosen the screw on the right side of the
head shown in figure 18, then, aligning the
flat of the indicator rod with that of the hole,
slide the rod into the hole from the bottom
and retighten the screw.
