Remove the fan cover by squeezing the top (1) and
bottom (1), then pulling the cover (2) out.

Find the memory module banks on your system board.

Gently pull the plastic tabs away from the sides of the
memory modules, then remove them.
Caution
The heat sink has Thermal Interface Material (TIM) located on the
bottom of it. Use caution when you remove the old heat sink so you
do not damage the TIM.
