5.13 Managing hp laserjet Printers and Plotters

HP Web Jetadmin for OpenView NNM-NT is available on the Enterprise Products CD or may be downloaded from
the HP web site at

http://www.hp.com/toptools

. The HP Web Jetadmin integration is only supported on NNM-NT,

however unsupported version for HPUX and Solaris are provided in the contributed library for customer
convenience. Consult the readme files in \Enterprise\product subdirectory (Tt4nnmux, Tt4nnmsol)\contrib on the
CD for further information.

HP Web Jetadmin supports the following HP printing products (HP Jetdirect Connect Peripherals):

• HP LaserJets

• HP PaintJets

• HP 2000C

• HP DeskJets

• HP DesignJets

• HP Digital Sender

Each HP printer is identified on the NNM map by a customized printer icon. To access HP management actions,
select a printer in NNM and invoke Web Jetadmin from the context menu. You will see items displayed above in
Figure 5-22.
