Using random play
Use the random play function to
play titles/chapters/groups/tracks
(DVD) or tracks (CD or Video CD)
in a random order.
You can’t use random play with
DVD-RW discs, Super Audio CD or
Video CDs playing in PBC mode.
1 Press RANDOM on the front panel
repeatedly to select a random play
mode.
The mode is displayed on-screen:
• Random Chapter/Track (from
within the current title)
• Random Title/Group
• Random (random play starts
immediately)
2 DVD only: Press ENTER or 3 to
start random play.
• To stop the disc and cancel random
playback, press 7.
• To cancel random playback without
stopping playback, press CLEAR. The
rest of the disc plays out.
Tip
• During random play, the 4 and ¢
buttons function a little differently to
normal:
4 returns to the beginning
of the current track/chapter/. You
can't go back further than this.
¢
selects another track/chapter at
random from those remaining.
• You can't use random play together
with program or repeat play.

aléatoire pour reproduire des titres/
chapitres/groupes/plages (DVD) ou
des plages (CD ou Vidéo-CD) dans
un ordre quelconque.
Vous ne pouvez pas activer la lecture
aléatoire avec des DVD-RW, des
Super Audio CD ni des Vidéo-CD qui
se trouvent en mode de lecture PBC.
1 Appuyez plusieurs fois sur la touche
RANDOM située sur le panneau
avant pour sélectionner un mode
de lecture aléatoire.
Le mode est affiché sur l’écran:
• Random Chapter/Track (dans le
titre en cours)
• Random Title/Group
• Random (la lecture aléatoire
démarre immédiatement)
2 DVD uniquement: Appuyez sur
ENTER ou
3 pour démarrer la
lecture aléatoire.
• Pour arrêter le disque et annuler la
lecture aléatoire, appuyez sur 7.
• Pour annuler la lecture aléatoire sans
arrêter la lecture, appuyez sur CLEAR.
La lecture du disque se poursuit
jusqu’à la fin.
Conseil
• En cours de lecture aléatoire, les
touches 4 et ¢ fonctionnent un
peu différemment du mode habituel:
4 retourne au début de la plage/
chapitre en cours. Vous ne pouvez pas
retourner plus loin en arrière.
¢
sélectionne une autre plage/chapitre
de manière aléatoire parmi ceux qui
restent.
• Vous ne pouvez pas activer
simultanément le mode de lecture
aléatoire et les modes de lecture
programmée et répétée.
