Delayed Polling
To set the unit into the Delayed Polling Mode start in the FUNCTION MODE by pressing
FUNCTION
without a document in the feeder.
1. Press "3". Your unit goes into a POLLING REQUEST MODE. The LCD will
display:

2. Use the cursor keys to select simple polling. The LCD will display:

Press
SET.
The LCD will display:
DELAY: Q 00:00

FAX:
Input the time at which delayed polling is to take place.
The setting procedure is the same as Delayed Transmission (p.45)
Press
START.
The LCD will request the fax number to be polled and display:
MSG CTR
— AUTO ANS
PASSWORD
Input the numbers using the ten key pad. To dial manually, press
MAN.DIAL
first.
Press
START
and the unit is ready to poll at the specified time. The LCD will
display:
MSG CTR
— AUTO ANS

NOTE
1:
Only manual transmission (see p. 12) and normal reception are possible while
the unit is waiting for the right time to start polling. Automatic transmission
cannot be used.
DELAY WAITING
NOTE 2:
While waiting for polling, Automatic Paging function does not work.
