Remove
the
protective
cap
from
the
fiber-optic
cable.

Connect
the
fiber-optic
cable
to
the
installed
SFP,
as
shown
in
3.
Check
the
LEDs
on
the
RAID
controller.
When
the
RAID
controller
is
operating
properly,
the
amber
Fault
LED
is
off.
For
information
about
the
status
of
the
RAID
controller
LEDs,
see
4.
To
remove
the
fiber-optic
cables,
gently
pull
the
fiber-optic
cable
from
the
SFP;
then
replace
the
protective
caps.

you
use
to
