To use the Outbound Communication menu (from the endpoint interface):

While the subscriber’s name is displayed in a feature menu (Call Log, contact
list, etc.), tap
CONTACT
to view the subscriber’s status and contact informa-
tion.

This includes
the subscriber’s call and instant messaging (IM) availability
on the first line, with the call availability listed first.
The letter

stands for “available”—the letter
U
stands for “unavailable.” The
second line displays different ways to contact the subscriber:
