- 1. On the Windows desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and select Manage.
- 2. Double-click on the Device Manager.
- 3. Open the Multi-port serial adapters entry (click the [+] button to expand the list).
- 4. Right-click on the device you want to disable or uninstall.

- Upgrading the Driver
- 1. Unzip the file into a new subdirectory, for example: \Comtrol.
- 2. On the Windows desktop, right-click on the My Computer icon and select Manage.
- 3. Double-click on the Device Manager.
- 4. Open the Multi-port serial adapters item.
- 5. Highlight the device for which you want to update the driver, right-click, and select Disable.
- 6. Select Yes when this pop screen appears:
