Nikon D3100

Nikon D3100, launched in 2010, is a digital single-lens reflex camera of the Nikon entry-level lineup of cameras, a replacement of the Nikon D3000. The main differences from the D3000 include the availability of the LiveView mode, the possibility of video recording, the new 14.2-megapixel CMOS sensor instead of the 10.2-megapixel CCD, automatic correction of chromatic aberrations, and less weight.

In addition the D3100 features the 3.0-inch LCD display with the resolution of 230,000 dots, 11-point autofocus sensor with 3D tracking, wide range of ISO sensitivity 100-12800, continuous shooting of 3frames per second, Full High Definition video recording (with the resolution of 1920x1080p at 24 frames per second).

The Nikon D3100 attracts your attention at first sight with its slim and comfortable design. It is pleasant to hold it in hands, pleasant to work with it, even just nice to look at it. And with the first image you capture with the Nikon D3100 you will like it even more for the bright and vivid colors, clarity of the smallest detail on your picture.

CMOS image sensor with 14.2-megapixel resolution ensures high image quality, especially in low-light conditions. Are you recording a beloved cat, which constantly is trying to escape from the camera? You will see in the pictures all the emotions of your beloved pet, as the Nikon D3100 has a system of 11-point autofocus, and the image quality is maintained even when you shoot moving objects. Do you want to capture a sunset or a panorama of the city at night? You will get bright and clear pictures, even without using a flash, as the D3100 features a wide range of sensitivity.

The Nikon D3100 defines its own approach to each type of shooting, as the camera automatically selects the required settings, depending on the type of scene composition with the help of the Live View mode. Additionally, you can use filters, for example, of fast processing, or of red-eye reduction. You can select the desired method of color display: vivid, neutral, standard, monochrome, landscape, portrait, and others.

The Nikon D3100 records video in Full HD. You can view your video directly on the 3-inch LCD display of the camera, or via HDMI connector you can watch it on TV. The Nikon D3100 is designed for long-term operation: it has a strong body and a built-in sensor cleaning.
