Customizing the share menu
The last option in the Share menu is Customize this menu... .
This menu option allows you to add more e-mail and other HP
Instant Share destinations to the Share menu on your camera.
1 Use the button to highlight Customize this menu... ,
and then press the OK button. A message on the Image
Display appears asking you to connect the camera to
your computer.
NOTE If your computer is running Windows XP, when you
connect the camera to your computer in the next step, a
dialog box may display that requests you to Select the
program to launch for this action . Simply click on Cancel
to close this dialog box.
2 Connect the camera to your computer by using the USB
cable or an optional HP 8886 camera dock. This activates
the Camera Share Menu Setup Wizard.
NOTE If you have a memory card installed in your camera,
make sure that it is not locked and that it has some free
space on it in order for the computer to recognize the
camera from the Camera Share Menu Setup Wizard.
3 In the first window, click on either Retrieve from Camera on
a Windows computer, or Next on a Macintosh computer.
4 Add any e-mail or other HP Instant Share destinations that
you would like to add to your camera’s Share menu from
the Modify Share Menu screen. Complete the forms for
those destinations. After completing each form, click Next .
In the confirmation screen that appears, click Finish .
