1. Check the Mode option. For most print jobs, leave the option
set to Automatic. The printer driver automatically makes
the best settings according to the data to be printed, the
Media Type setting, and the Ink setting. The current
settings are shown at the bottom of the menu.
2. Check the Media Type option. Select the media you loaded in
the printer from the Media Type list. See page 3-12 for
more information on making the Media Type setting.
3. Check the Ink option. Select Color if your document includes
color. Select Black if you are printing black text, a draft, or
if you want colors to print as varying shades of gray.
4. Click the Paper tab. The Paper menu appears.
