: By inputting [DP TO HDMI CONVERT] is set to [ENABLE], the DisplayPort input can be HDMI output.
DP and HDMI cannot be output simultaneously.
NOTEN:
• Video Out cannot be performed when [MULTI PICTURE] or [QUICK INPUT CHANGE] are enabled.
For connecting multiple monitors with HDMI cable
• Use the same monitor model.
• Set the same ([MODE1] or [MODE2]) at [HDMI MODE] in [INPUT-ADVANCED] in all connected multiple monitors.
For HDMI Out and DisplayPort Out
• Select DisplayPort1, DisplayPort2 or OPTION input for the monitor to output a signal from DisplayPort Out.
• Select either the HDMI1, HDMI2 or OPTION input for the monitor to output a signal from HDMI OUT.
• If [DP TO HDMI CONVERT] is set to [ENABLE], even when the OSD menu “INPUT” is set to [DisplayPort1] or [DisplayPort2],
the video is output from the HDMI output connector. In this case, the video output of the DP output connector will stop.
• This monitor’s signal output function supports contents protected by HDCP.
HDCP content can be distributed across multiple connected monitors as described below:
• HDCP1: Up to 8 monitors (including this monitor)/HDCP2.2: Up to 5 monitors (including this monitor).
• The time until image is shown depends on the number of connected monitors.
• Without HDCP: Up to 9 monitors (including this monitor).
• When [DUAL DAISY CHAIN MODE] is set to [ENABLE], HDMI and DisplayPort can be output simultaneously.
However, one input cannot be output to both HDMI and DisplayPort at the same time.
Example:
• Even when [DUAL DAISY CHAIN MODE] is set to [ENABLE], DisplayPort1 cannot be output simultaneously from both
HDMI out and DisplayPort out.
• When [DUAL DAISY CHAIN MODE] is set to [ENABLE], DisplayPort1 can be output from DisplayPort out and HDMI2
can be output from HDMI out.
NOTEN:
• Do not turn the main power switch off/on or connect/disconnect the cable while playing HDCP-protected video
content in a daisy chain connection. Playback of video content may stop. If playback stops, try playing again.
• Depending on the device you use, number of monitor connection will change.
• When showing an image in a multi-monitor setting, do not disconnect cables from the monitors. When you disconnect
cables, please turn the main power off first.
For HDCP Content
HDCP is a system for preventing illegal copying of video data sent over a digital signal. If you are unable to view material via the
digital inputs, this does not necessarily mean that the monitor is not functioning properly. With the implementation of HDCP, there
may be cases in which certain content is protected by HDCP and might not be shown due to the decision/intention of the HDCP
community (Digital Content Protection, LLC).
Due to these security restrictions in video content, HDCP video content can only be tiled across a limited number of monitors.
HDCP video content is generally commercially produced Blu-rays and DVDs, television broadcast, and streaming media
services.
