Using the Optional EVF-V70 Electronic Viewfinder
You can attach the optional EVF-V70 OLED Electronic Viewfinder (1920x1080 pixels) to the camera instead of
the LCD monitor and use the buttons and dials on the EVF-V70 to operate the camera. Attaching the EVF-V70
also requires attaching the handle unit

and optional CL-V2 Clamp Base. The assistance functions that can be
output to the LCD monitor through the VIDEO terminal will also be output to the EVF-V70.
1 Supplied accessory for the C200; optional accessory for the C200B.
1 Attach the handle unit ( A 28).
2 Set the Q switch to OFF.
3 Perform the steps up to, but not including, attaching the
clamp base to the camera described in the EVF-V70’s
instruction manual (steps 1 to 4 of
Attaching the
Viewfinder ).
4 Attach the optional CL-V2 Clamp Base to the handle
unit.
• Use a hex wrench* to secure it firmly with the hex socket
head bolts*.
* Supplied with the clamp base.
5 Attach the EVF-V70.
• Perform the steps after attaching the clamp base to the
camera described in the EVF-V70’s instruction manual
(steps 6 to 11 of
Attaching the Viewfinder ).
