Do not connect the OUT and IN connectors to a
hub. The input/output signals for these
connectors are unique to the product and are not
Ethernet signals. In particular, be aware that
connecting these connectors to a PoE injector
hub may result in damage to the product.
 Cabinet joints
Connect to other Display Cabinets.
ZRD-CH12D/ZRD-CH15D/ZRD-BH12D/ZRD-
BH15D: There are two cabinet joints on the
right side, left side, top and bottom.
ZRD-C12A/ZRD-C15A/ZRD-B12A/ZRD-
B15A:There is one cabinet joint on the right
side, one on the left side, two on top, and two
on the bottom.

PWR OUT (AC power output) connector
(ZRD-CH12D/ZRD-CH15D/ZRD-BH12D/ZRD-
BH15D)

OUT (AC power output) connector
(ZRD-C12A/ZRD-C15A/ZRD-B12A/ZRD-
B15A)
Use a power cord (not supplied) to connect
this connector to the PWR IN (AC power
input) connector or

IN (AC power input)
connector on the succeeding Display Cabinet
in the daisy-chain connection.
This connector is not used for the last Display
Cabinet in the daisy-chain connection.

Use a power cord (not supplied) to connect
this connector to the PWR OUT (AC power
output) connector or

Cabinet in the daisy-chain connection.
For the first Display Cabinet in the daisy-chain
connection, use a power cord (not supplied)
to connect this connector to the circuit
breaker.

OUT (cabinet output) connector (RJ-45)
Use a Category 7 cable (not supplied) to
connect this connector to the IN (cabinet
input) connector on the succeeding Display
Cabinet in the daisy-chain connection.
This connector is not used for the last Display
Cabinet in the daisy-chain connection.
 IN (cabinet input) connector (RJ-45)
Use a Category 7 cable (not supplied) to
connect this connector to the OUT (cabinet
output) connector on the preceding Display
Cabinet in the daisy-chain connection.
For the first Display Cabinet in the daisy-chain
connection, use a Category 7 cable (not
supplied) to connect this connector to the
OUTPUT connector on the Display Controller.

POWER indicator (ZRD-CH12D/ZRD-CH15D/
ZRD-BH12D/ZRD-BH15D only)
Indicates the power supply status of the
Display Cabinet.
When the Display Cabinet does not work
properly after turning the power off and on,
contact your local Sony representative.

STATUS indicator (ZRD-CH12D/ZRD-CH15D/
ZRD-BH12D/ZRD-BH15D only)
Indicates the system status of the Display
Cabinet.
For details, see “Troubleshooting” (page 27)
and “Error Codes” (page 29).

Indicator Status
Off The Display Cabinet is
turned off.
Lit red The Display Cabinet is in
standby mode.
Lit orange Power error occurred on the
Display Cabinet.
Lit green The Display Cabinet is
turned on (normal operating
status).

Blinking red An error occurred on the
Display Cabinet.
Lit orange The Display Cabinet is
turned off.
Blinking orange A warning occurred on the
Display Cabinet.
