3.1 Example: Configuring MMS Read Messages
To begin, start P RO S OFT 61850 C ONFIGURATION M ANAGER .
If you have used other Windows configuration tools before, you will find the
window layout familiar. ProSoft 61850 Configuration Manager
’s window consists
of a Device View folder tree on the left, Network View pane in the upper-right,
and Configuration Tags View pane in the lower-right. When ProSoft 61850
Configuration Manager is first started, the Device View shows default devices
and configuration.
