All tags are available to be read from the gateway by a Modbus TCP/IP Client.
To lookup the address of the tags in the gateway, right-click on the ProSoft
Gateway icon, and choose M
ODBUS TCP/IP S ERVER M APPING .
2.2.2 Modbus TCP/IP Client Mapping
When you choose M ODBUS TCP/IP C LIENT M APPING , the following window will
appear:
This list shows the entire mapping of the Modbus TCP/IP Client gateway.
Columns of data shown are:
T AG N AME : These are the tag names. By default they are prefixed with the IED
name. The Tag Name can be changed on the IEC 61850 Mapping Tool window.
S OURCE : This is the IED source path of the data.
D ESTINATION : In this example the destinations are on two different Modbus
devices, Modbus 0 and Modbus 1. The PLC Starting Modbus Address is
appended to the end of the Modbus device names.
