Using Convenient Fax Functions > Encryption

Enter the fax number of the receiving system using the numeric keys.

Turn on encrypted transmission.

] key to select the encryption key number that you used to register the
encryption key that you decided upon with the recipient.

Press the [
OK
] key.

Select whether or not to use an encryption box.
To use an encryption box, select [On] and press the [
OK
] key. Select an encryption box using
the procedure below.
To not use an encryption box, select [Off] and press the [
OK
] key. Proceed to step 7.
NOTE
When encrypted transmission has been set to a destination in the Address Book or One
touch keys, you can use the destination.
