Schritt 6
Fangen Sie an der Rahmenseite 1 an, das Gewebe

mit dem Eindrückwerkzeug

in die

Nut des Aluminiumprofils

einzudrücken.

Achtung: Halten Sie das Gewebe

mit der freien

Hand nach unten gedrückt, damit es nicht verrutscht. Fixieren Sie anschließend das Gewebe

mittels einer Clickleiste

(siehe Abb. 6). Längen Sie die überstehende Clickleiste

mit

einer Schere ab.

tip: Verwenden Sie einen Gummihammer, um die Clickleisten in die Nut

einzuklopfen!
Schritt 7
Streichen Sie das Gewebe

in Richtung der Rahmenseite 2 glatt. Halten Sie mit der freien

Hand das Gewebe

eng am Rahmen nach unten, damit es durch das Eindrücken nicht zu sehr

spannt und drücken Sie das Gewebe

mit dem Eindrückwerkzeug

in die vorgesehene

Nut des Aluminiumprofils

. Fixieren Sie das Gewebe

mit der verbliebenen Clickleiste

(siehe Abb. 6) und schneiden Sie die überstehende Leiste wieder mit einer Schere ab.
tip: Verwenden Sie einen Gummihammer, um die Clickleisten in die Nut einzuklopfen!
Schritt 8
Drücken Sie nun auf der Rahmenseite 3 das Gewebe

auf einer Länge von ca. 20 cm

mittels des Eindrückwerkzeugs

in die Nut des Aluminiumprofils

und fixieren Sie dieses

Stück mittels einer Clickleiste

Achtung: Drücken Sie das Gewebe

wieder mit der

freien Hand nach unten (siehe Abb. 6).

tip: Verwenden Sie einen Gummihammer, um die

Clickleisten in die Nut einzuklopfen!
Schritt 9
Wiederholen Sie die Arbeitsschritte aus Schritt 8 auf der gegenüberliegenden Rahmenseite 4
(siehe Abb. 6).

Achtung: Auch hier das Gewebe mit der freien Hand nach unten drücken,

damit es nicht zu sehr spannt!
Schritt 10
Arbeiten Sie sich abwechselnd auf den langen Rahmenseiten vor, bis das Gewebe im Rahmen
fixiert ist.
Schritt 11
Schneiden Sie überstehendes Gewebe mit einer stabilen Haushaltsschere ab (siehe Abb. 7).
Schritt 12
Drehen Sie den Gitterrost um, so dass die Unterseite nach oben zeigt. Messen Sie von einer
Ecke aus ca. 6 – 8 cm je nach Gitterteilung und stecken Sie hier einen Befestigungshaken

auf den Steg. Verteilen Sie die restlichen Befestigungshaken

wie oben beschrieben auf

dem Gitterrost (siehe Abb. 8).
Schritt 13
Drehen Sie den Gitterrost um und legen Sie die Lichtschachtabdeckung auf den Rost. Stecken
Sie je eine Befestigungsschraube

mit einer Scheibe

so durch das Gitter, dass Sie auf

einen Befestigungshaken

treffen. Verschrauben Sie mit einem Kreuzschraubendreher die

Befestigungen (siehe Abb. 9).
Schritt 14
Legen Sie den Gitterrost mit der montierten Abdeckung in den Lichtschacht (siehe Abb. 10).

reinigung und Pflege

Verwenden Sie keinesfalls ätzende oder scheuernde Reinigungsmittel.
Reinigen Sie den Rahmen mit einem fusselfreien, leicht angefeuchteten Tuch.
Verwenden Sie ggf. ein mildes Reinigungsmittel.

haben ab, damit kein anderer durch Unachtsamkeit in den offenen Schacht stürzt.

Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Montage, dass Ihr Lichtschacht für dieses Produkt geeignet

ist und die Maximalmaße nicht überschreitet.

hinweis: Verwenden Sie bei allen Montageschritten eine Unterlage (z. B. Kartonage
oder Decke), damit die Aluminiumprofile bei der Montage nicht verkratzen.

Schritt 1
Gitterrost ausmessen und Maße abzüglich 63 mm pro Profil auf den Aluminiumprofilen

und

anzeichnen (siehe Abb. 1).

Schritt 2
Schneiden Sie die Aluminiumprofile

und

mit einer Eisensäge im 90° Winkel zu. Wir

empfehlen hierfür die Verwendung einer Gehrungslade. Entgraten Sie die Schnittkanten an-
schließend mit einer Feile (siehe Abb. 2).
Schritt 3
Schneiden Sie die Bürstendichtung

2 x auf Länge Aluminiumprofil

+ 50 mm und

2 x auf Länge Aluminiumprofil

+ 60 mm zu. Schieben Sie die Bürstendichtungen

die äußere Nut der Aluminiumprofile

und

ein (Abb. 3).

Schritt 4
Drücken Sie die Eckverbinder

in die Profile ein (gegebenenfalls mit einem Gummihammer

einklopfen). Schieben Sie die Bürstendichtungen

in die Eckverbinder

ein. Bauen Sie nun

den Rahmen komplett zusammen. Achten Sie dabei darauf, dass die Bürstendichtungen

überall eingeschoben sind (siehe Abb. 4).

VorSICht! Verwenden Sie für die folgenden Schritte unbedingt Arbeitshandschuhe!

Schritt 5
Legen Sie das Gewebe

auf den Rahmen.

Achtung: Achten Sie darauf, dass rundum

genügend Überstand bleibt (siehe Abb. 5).

Achtung: Benötigen Sie das komplette

Bausatzmaß von 1,15 m x 0,50 m, richten Sie das Gewebe

so auf dem Rahmen aus,

dass es deckend auf dem Rahmen liegt.

Step 7
Stretch the fabric

smooth in the direction of frame side 2. Keep the fabric

tightly down on to the frame so that the inserted fabric is not subject to excessive tension and
press the fabric

into the slot provided for this purpose in the aluminium profile

using

the insertion tool

. Fix the fabric

with the remaining click strip

(see Fig. 6) and trim

off the projecting strip, again using scissors.

tip: Use a rubber hammer to pound the click-strip

into the groove!
Step 8
Now press the fabric

over a length of at least 20 cm into the slot of the aluminium profile

on frame side 3 using the insertion tool

then fix this piece in place with a click strip

Attention: Press down the fabric

again with your free hand (see Fig. 6).

tip: Use a

rubber hammer to pound the click-strip into the groove!
Step 9
Repeat the steps from step 8 on the opposite frame side 4 (see Fig. 6).

Attention: Hold

the fabric down with your free hand so that it is not subject to excessive tension!
Step 10
Work forward on alternate long frame sides until the fabric is fixed in the frame.
Step 11
Trim off any surplus fabric with some strong household scissors (see Fig. 7).
Step 12
Turn the grating over so that the underside is facing up. Measure from one corner approx.
6 - 8 cm per grating portion and place a fastening hook

on the cross-piece. Distribute the

rest of the fastening hooks

as described above on the grating (see Fig. 8).

Step 13
Turn the grating over and place the light shaft cover on the grating. Put one fastening screw

with one disk respectively

through the grating so that it touches a fastening hook. Tighten

the fastenings with a Phillip’s screwdriver (see Fig. 9).
Step 14
Place the grating cover with the installed screen into the basement window well (see Fig. 10).

Cleaning and care

Do not under any circumstances use corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.

Clean the frame using a fluff-free, slightly moist cloth.

Use some mild detergent if necessary.

Disposal

The packaging is made entirely of recyclable materials, which you may dispose

of at local recycling facilities.

Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details of how to dispose of your
worn-out product.

parts could detrimentally affect the functioning of the product and lead to injury. If the
grating cover has been removed from a basement window well, make it safe to prevent
anyone inadvertently falling into it.

Installation

Check before installation that your window well is suitable for this product and does not
exceed the maximum allowable dimensions.

note: Use some sort of soft backing (e.g. cardboard or a cloth cover) during all the steps
to prevent the aluminium profiles from being scratched during assembly and installation.

Step 1
Measure the width and the depth of the grating cover, subtract 63 mm per profile and mark
the calculated values on the aluminium profiles

and

respectively (see Fig. 1).

Step 2
Cut the aluminium profiles

and

at 90° using a hacksaw. We recommend the use of a

metre box for this. Then remove any burrs from the sawn edges using a file (see Fig. 2).
Step 3
Cut the brush seal

to 2 x the length of the aluminium profile

+ 50 mm and 2 x the

length of the aluminium profile

+ 60 mm. Push the brush seal

into the outer groove of

the aluminium profile

and

in (Fig. 3).

Step 4
Press the corner connector

into the profile (if necessary, pound in with a rubber hammer).

Push the brush seals

into the corner connector

. Now, put the frame together completely.

Ensure that the brush seals are pushed in

on all sides (see Fig. 4).

CAUtIon! During the following steps, please be sure to wear work gloves!

Step 5
Place the fabric

on the frame.

Attention: Ensure that there is enough protrusion on all

sides (see Fig. 5).

Attention: If you require the complete assembly kit dimensions of

1.15 m x 0.50 m, align the fabric

on the frame so that it is positioned to cover the frame.

Step 6
Starting with frame side 1, press the fabric

into the slot of the aluminium profile

using

the insertion tool

Attention: Keep the fabric

pressed down with your free hand so

that it cannot slip. Then fix the fabric

in place with a click strip

for the specified applications. Store these instructions in a safe place. If passing

this product on to a third party also include all documents.

This article was designed for use in private domestic environments to exclude vermin and
leaves. Any use or modification of the product not as described below could lead to dam-

Comece no lado 1 da moldura, pressionando a rede

Passo 7
Alise a rede

no sentido do lado 2 da moldura. Usando a mão livre, mantenha a rede

para baixo,

, apertada na moldura, de forma a não esticar demasiado devido à intro-

dução e pressione a rede

com a ferramenta de inserção

contra a ranhura prevista

do perfil de alumínio

. Fixe a rede

com a barra de encaixe que resta

(ver fig. 6) e

volte a cortar a barra sobreposta com uma tesoura.

Sugestão: Utilize um martelo de bor-

racha para bater nas barras de encaixe sobre a ranhura!
Passo 8
Pressione agora a rede

sobre o lado 3 da moldura, num comprimento de aprox. 20 cm,

por meio da ferramenta de inserção

, contra a ranhura do perfil de alumínio

e fixe

esta peça através de uma barra de encaixe

Atenção: Mantenha novamente a rede

pressionada para baixo com a mão livre (ver fig. 6).

Sugestão: Utilize um martelo de

borracha para bater nas barras de encaixe sobre a ranhura!
Passo 9
Repita os procedimentos do passo 8 no lado oposto 4 da moldura (ver fig. 6).

Atenção:

Manter também aqui a rede pressionada para baixo com a mão livre, de forma a que esta
não seja demasiado esticada.
Passo 10
Efectue um trabalho preliminar, de forma alternada, nos lados compridos da moldura até
que a rede esteja fixa na moldura.
Passo 11
Corte a rede sobreposta com uma tesoura normal estável (ver fig. 7).
Passo 12
Rode a grelha de grade, de modo a que a parte inferior fique voltada para cima. Meça a
partir de um canto, aprox. 6 – 8 cm em cada, conforme a divisão da grade, e coloque
aqui um gancho de fixação

na alma. Distribua os ganchos de fixação restantes

como descrito anteriormente sobre a grelha de grade (ver fig. 8).
Passo 13
Gire a grelha de grade e coloque a cobertura da clarabóia sobre a grelha. Coloque em
cada um dos parafusos de fixação

uma anilha

, atravessando a grade, de forma a

alcançar um gancho de fixação

. Aparafuse as fixações com uma chave de estrela

(ver fig. 9).
Passo 14
Coloque a grelha de grade com a cobertura montada na clarabóia (ver fig. 10).

Antes da montagem, assegure-se de que a sua clarabóia é adequada a este produto e

não ultrapassa as dimensões máximas.

nota: Em todos os passos de montagem, utilize uma base (por ex. embalagem de
cartão ou cobertura), de forma a que os perfis de alumínio não sejam arranhados
durante a montagem.

Passo 1
Medir a grelha de grade e marcar as medidas retirando 63 mm por perfil nos perfis de
alumínio

(ver fig. 1).

Passo 2
Corte os perfis de alumínio

com uma serra para metais, descrevendo um ângulo

de 90°. Recomendamos, para isso, a utilização de uma caixa de meia esquadria. De
seguida, rebarbe as arestas de corte com uma lima (ver fig. 2).
Passo 3
Corte a vedação de escova

2 x no comprimento do perfil de alumínio

+ 50 mm e

2 x no comprimento do perfil de alumínio

+ 60 mm. Introduza as vedações de escova

na ranhura exterior dos perfis de alumínio

(fig. 3).

Passo 4
Pressione o conector angular

contra os perfis (se necessário, batendo com um martelo

de borracha). Introduza as vedações de escova

nos conectores de canto

. Monte

então completamente a moldura. Enquanto isso, tenha em atenção que as vedações de
escova

fiquem introduzidas a toda a volta (ver fig. 4).

CUIDADo! Use impreterivelmente luvas de trabalho para os passos seguintes!

Passo 5
Coloque a rede

sobre a moldura.

Atenção: Tenha o cuidado de deixar uma saliência

suficiente à volta (ver fig. 5).

Atenção: Se necessitar do grupo completo de medidas de

1,15 m x 0,50 m, alinhe a rede

na moldura, de forma a que esta fique a tapar a moldura.
