Installing the software for Windows 95 or Windows 98
Follow these steps to install the printer software for
Windows 95 or Windows 98:
1. Make sure Windows is running and the printer is off.
2. Insert the Printer Software CD in the CD-ROM drive.
3. Click Start, then Run.
4. In the Run dialog box, type D:\SETUP (substituting the
correct drive letter if your CD-ROM drive is not D).
You can also click the Browse button to select your
CD-ROM drive and the file “Setup.exe” in the root
directory.
5. Click OK. You see the EPSON Printer Utility Setup screen:
6. Make sure EPSON Stylus COLOR 300 is selected, and click
OK to start the installation.
7. When the installation is complete, click OK. You see the
EPSON window.
Your printer software is now installed and the EPSON Stylus
COLOR 300 printer is selected as the default printer for your
Windows applications. For information on using the printer
driver and utilities, see Chapter 3.
